Vendor Listing Service, LLC d/b/a Vendor Listing Service ("VLS," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our websites, mobile applications, software platforms, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information you provide when you:
- create an account;
- complete a profile;
- subscribe to services;
- communicate with us;
- communicate with Vendors or other users;
- submit reviews or recommendations;
- upload content;
- make payments;
- opt into communications;
- or otherwise use the Platform.
This information may include:
- name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- brokerage or company name;
- job title;
- profile information;
- profile photos;
- company logos;
- billing information;
- account credentials;
- Vendor listings;
- reviews;
- recommendations;
- communications;
- and other content you choose to provide.
B. Vendor Information
Vendors may provide:
- business names;
- contact information;
- service categories;
- logos;
- licensing information;
- marketing information;
- and links to third-party websites or profiles such as Yelp, BBB, Google Business Profiles, or social media accounts.
VLS does not independently verify Vendor-provided information.
C. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. VLS does not store full payment card numbers or complete payment credentials on our servers. Stripe's collection and use of payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. By making payments through the Platform, you acknowledge that payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms, policies, and privacy practices.
D. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
- IP address;
- device identifiers;
- browser type;
- operating system;
- mobile device information;
- app version;
- referral URLs;
- usage activity;
- interaction data;
- crash reports;
- diagnostic information;
- and approximate location information.
E. Location Information
With your permission, the Platform may collect approximate or precise location information from your mobile device or browser in order to provide geographically relevant Vendor recommendations, display market-specific content, improve Platform functionality, and enhance user experience.
VLS will request your express permission before collecting precise location information where required by your device operating system or applicable law. You may grant or revoke location permissions through your device or browser settings at any time, though certain Platform features may not function properly if location access is disabled.
VLS collects location information solely for purposes reasonably related to Platform functionality and geographically relevant Vendor discovery and does not use precise location information for advertising profiling without separate consent where required by law. VLS does not represent or warrant the accuracy of location-based results.
F. Analytics, Cookies, and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, analytics tools, session technologies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform, understand usage patterns, analyze performance, improve functionality, and enhance user experience.
We may use third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar services. These technologies may collect information regarding device activity, browsing behavior, app interactions, session activity, and Platform usage.
VLS uses:
- essential cookies necessary for Platform functionality;
- functional cookies that remember preferences;
- and analytics cookies used to understand usage patterns and improve services.
You may control cookies through your browser or device settings. You may also opt out of certain Google Analytics tracking by visiting tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Disabling certain cookies or tracking technologies may affect Platform functionality.
G. Push Notifications
The Platform may send push notifications relating to account activity, authentication, Platform updates, Vendor activity, reminders, transactional communications, or promotions. Push notifications require your consent, which you may grant or revoke through your device operating system settings. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings without affecting your ability to use the Platform.
H. SMS and Communications Consent
The Platform may send text messages (SMS), emails, push notifications, and similar communications, including authentication codes, account alerts, transactional notices, reminders, service announcements, and promotional communications.
By providing your phone number and opting into SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from VLS at the number provided, including promotional messages where permitted by law. Text messages will be sent by or on behalf of Vendor Listing Service, LLC.
Consent to receive promotional messages is not a condition of purchasing or using the Platform where prohibited by law. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP where applicable. You may reply HELP for assistance where supported. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using unsubscribe links included in those communications.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use information for purposes including:
- operating and maintaining the Platform;
- creating and managing accounts;
- processing transactions;
- facilitating Vendor discovery and recommendations;
- displaying geographically relevant Vendor information;
- communicating with users;
- responding to inquiries;
- sending notifications and updates;
- improving the Platform;
- developing new features;
- analyzing usage trends;
- preventing fraud and abuse;
- enforcing our Terms;
- complying with legal obligations;
- protecting rights and safety;
- and marketing and promotional purposes.
3. HOW INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED
We may share information:
- with Vendors or users as necessary to provide Platform functionality;
- with service providers and contractors;
- with payment processors such as Stripe;
- with analytics providers;
- with cloud hosting providers;
- with communication providers;
- with affiliated entities;
- in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financing, or asset sales;
- to comply with legal obligations;
- to enforce agreements;
- or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Information shared through the Platform, including Vendor recommendations and profile information, may be visible to other users depending on Platform functionality and account settings.
When users share Vendor information or recommendations through the Platform, VLS may provide applicable Vendors with attribution, engagement, referral, or analytics information relating to the recommending user, including professional identification details such as the user's name, initials, brokerage affiliation, team affiliation, geographic market, or Platform activity, in order to facilitate Platform functionality, reporting, analytics, relationship management, and related services.
VLS does not control how third parties use information after it has been shared with them. VLS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, certain analytics or advertising technologies may constitute "sharing" of information under California law.
California residents who wish to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes may do so by enabling the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal in their browser where supported, by contacting VLS at support@vendorlistingservice.com, or by opting out of certain Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
When VLS shares information with service providers, such providers are contractually required to use such information only to provide services to VLS and not for their own independent purposes, except as permitted by applicable law or pursuant to separate relationships users may independently maintain with those providers.
4. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, and profiles, including Yelp, BBB, Google Business Profiles, social media platforms, and other third-party services. Vendor-provided links to third-party profiles, reviews, or websites are provided solely as a convenience.
VLS does not control, endorse, verify, or guarantee third-party content, reviews, ratings, services, or privacy or security practices. Your interactions with third-party websites and services are governed entirely by their own terms and privacy policies.
5. USER CONTENT
Information you submit to the Platform, including reviews, recommendations, profile information, Vendor information, photos, logos, and communications, may be accessible to other users depending on Platform functionality. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
6. DATA RETENTION
VLS may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and financial records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect legitimate business interests.
Account information is generally retained for the duration of the account relationship and for a commercially reasonable period thereafter. Payment and transaction records may be retained as required by applicable financial, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Analytics data may be retained in accordance with our analytics providers' retention settings and policies.
Location information collected during Platform sessions is retained only as reasonably necessary for Platform functionality, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, and is not retained for general analytics purposes beyond aggregated or non-identifiable form.
7. SECURITY
VLS uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect information. However, no system is completely secure, no transmission method is completely secure, and VLS cannot guarantee absolute security of information. You use the Platform and transmit information at your own risk.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Platform is not intended for individuals under eighteen (18) years of age. VLS does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
9. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents may have certain rights under California law, including the right to:
- request access to certain personal information;
- request deletion of certain personal information;
- request correction of certain personal information;
- opt out of certain sharing of personal information;
- and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
In the preceding twelve (12) months, VLS may have collected categories of personal information including identifiers, contact information, commercial information, geolocation data, internet or network activity information, device information, usage data, and inferences drawn from Platform activity. Location information may constitute sensitive personal information under California law. California residents may request to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable.

VLS will not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights provided by law. California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf, subject to verification requirements. VLS may take reasonable steps to verify requests before responding. VLS generally responds to verifiable consumer requests within forty-five (45) days as required by applicable law.

10. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL AND DO NOT TRACK
VLS recognizes and honors Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals where required by applicable law. If your browser transmits a valid GPC signal, VLS may treat it as a request to opt out of certain sharing activities under applicable privacy laws.
Some browsers also transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track signals, the Platform may not respond to such signals beyond any legally required GPC recognition.
11. OTHER STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws, may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of certain processing of personal information.

12. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The Platform is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
VLS may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. For material changes, VLS will make reasonable efforts to notify users through email, in-app notification, or posting on the Platform prior to the effective date. Updated versions become effective upon posting unless otherwise indicated. Your continued use of the Platform following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
